Vanessa Castañeda specializes in publishing for niche audiences through the use of multiple platforms. After starting her career as a television reporter at KVR News 9, she went on to serve as News Director at Austin’s 91.7 FM. There, she developed and hosted a radio news talk show, “In The Know,” which is still on the air. Since graduating from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in broadcast journalism in 2008, she organized 3 Day Startup for tech entrepreneurs as the event’s communications director, produced multimedia for Rackspace Hosting’s corporate communications department, as well as published content for various adventure and technology blogs.
