Scientists have selected the most muscular cows, Belgian blues, and mated them to produce offspring that look like they’ve been juicing. Like super-lean human body builders on stage, the bulls were shorn to show off their muscles. Straight up, Austrian Oak style circa 1980. But, who wants to eat these things?
National Geographic was all over it.

The dress that Michelle Obama wore at Obama’s presidential victory speech captured my attention immediately.

Although her wardrobe selection was obviously an attempt to complement what her husband and daughters were wearing, the Narciso Rodriguez dress struck me as highly similar to the abdominal markings of a black widow.

And here I had erroneously thought that Palin was the only web spinner mating with the man who wanted to be president. Yikes!

I wonder if David C. Schneider, Washington Mutual Executive Vice President and President of Home Loans, still has a job after the company was named by Reutgers “the biggest failure.” Eesh.
For those of you living under rocks, The McCain/Obama debate is tonight.
The online behemoth Google wants to change the world with what has been dubbed Project 10 to the 100th. People can submit ideas that will help make the world a better place. The submission deadline is Oct. 20. I will be watching this eagerly to see what ideas are proposed.
A state rep in Louisiana wants to sterilize poor people. Yea you read that right. Louisiana State Rep. LaBruzzo wants to sterilize poor people. He told new Orleans City business he “realized that all these people were in Louisiana’s care and what a massive financial responsibility that is to the state…I said, ‘I wonder if it might be a good idea to pay some of these people to get sterilized.” $1,000 and a free spay or neuter.
